Area Administrative & Subcommittee Service Positions

The Chairperson is responsible for conducting Area committee meetings, preparing the agenda and various administrative duties. 

The Treasurer is responsible for all of the incoming and outgoing funds for the Nature Coast Area, being the single point of accountability for all our finances such as activities, group donations, the bank account, the rent, reimbursements, etc. 

The Secretary's first responsibility is to take clear, accurate minutes of the Area Committee Meeting and distribute to all committee participants.  

RCM's represent the Nature Coast Area at the Florida Region, NA, a body which coordinates service forums, the regional convention (FRCNA) and the regional assembly.  

The Webmaster manages the Nature Coast Area webpage, keeping our information accurate and up-to-date.

The LDO is responsible for maintaining a stock of NA books, pamphlets, key tags, chips, etc., that can be purchased by local groups at the monthly ASC Meeting. 

The H&I Chair is responsible for conducting panels that carry the NA message to addicts who often have no other way of hearing our message. 

Our Helpline maintains a telephone information service for Narcotics Anonymous that helps addicts and others in the community find us easily and quickly.  

The PR Chair's mission is to inform the community of the availability of Narcotics Anonymous in the Nature Coast Area.  

The Activities Chair helps carry our message through a variety of events such as dances, picnics, campouts, speaker meetings, and bowling nights, to name a few.
